Choosing Your Cabinet Hinge
Are you trying to replace your old cabinet hinges and are finding it difficult choosing the correct one? Identifying hinges is a daunting task but we are here to help!
There are 6 MAIN types of hinges. The next 4 pictures show 4 out of the 6.
The 2 that are not in the pictures are concealed (hidden) hinges and demountable hinges which have 1 or 2 mounting plates on them.
Even looking at these wonderful diagrams, it can still be very confusing..
