Take the guesswork out of where to place your bathroom hardware with this helpful guide from Amerock!
Where to Place Bathroom Hardware
Placing bathroom hardware can be tricky if you are not of "normal" height. These are the traditional guidelines but if you are a shorter person, place them closer to the ground. If you are taller, place them higher. You are the one that has to use them all the time so do what is comfortable for you!
Towel bars are generally placed 48in from the center of the bar to the floor.
Hooks are placed approximately 55-70in from floor to center of hook. This can be determined if you are using it for towels or robes which are longer.
Toilet paper holders are 26 in from the floor to the center of the tissue roll. This is pretty standard in relation to how tall your toilet is. If there is limited wall space no worries, mount on the side of your cabinet!
The hand towel rings are mounted 20-22in from the counter to the bottom of the ring. I personally recommend holding the ring with one of your towels hanging to see if it hits the top of the counter as some hand towels are longer than others.

Need more hanging space? Hooks are the answer!
Hooks are a great way to add extra hanging space in your bathroom (or kitchen). Mount the hooks in a row so everyone can have their own towel or robe hook. The hooks are installed 55-70in from the floor to the center of the hook. As stated earlier, hang a towel or robe on the hook before installing to ensure it is at a proper height for the item you will be hanging.
